Jharkhand Portfolio Allocation: The recent expansion of Chief Minister Champai Soren’s cabinet in Jharkhand has seen the allocation of portfolios to key ministers.

Chief Minister Champai Soren has kept crucial departments, including the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Rajbhasha, Department of Home, Department of Cabinet Secretariat, and Vigilance. This strategic move positions him to oversee significant aspects of the state administration.

Rameshwar Oraon, Congress party representative, has been entrusted with the Finance Department and the Department of Commercial Taxes. These key portfolios place Oraon at the helm of economic and financial matters within the state.

Banna Gupta, another Congress leader, assumes charge of the Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, and the Department of Disaster Management. Gupta’s responsibilities extend to critical sectors such as healthcare and disaster preparedness.

Basant Soren, JMM leader, will be heading the Department of Road Construction, Building Construction Department, and Water Resources Department. These portfolios highlight his role in shaping the state’s infrastructure and water management strategies.
