The Mumbai Chapter of the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) announced a special ‘Democracy Discount’ drive by offering voters a special discount of 20 per cent on the total dine-in bill value at more than 100 restaurants in Mumbai on May 20 and 21.

The drive, aimed at increasing voter turnout in the upcoming general elections, will offer a discount to dine-in customers who are residents as per their voter ID and have cast their vote. “The initiative is our hospitality fraternity’s way of encouraging citizens to go out and cast their votes. Mumbai has always had such a great sense of community and I am thrilled that we have so many fabulous brands on board as part of the NRAI Mumbai Chapter,” said Rachel Goenka, NRAI Mumbai Chapter Head.
