Mumbai News Live Updates: More than a week after the Ghatkopar hoarding collapse, on Wednesday, the death toll in the incident has touched 17. According to the latest information from BMC, a victim of the collapse, Raju Sonawane (52) who had been receiving treatment at KEM hospital was declared dead by the treating unit on Monday night at 11 pm.

Meanwhile, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday, hot and humid conditions are highly likely in the city and suburbs. The city is expected to experience minimum and maximum temperatures ranging between 35 to 29 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, BMC on Tuesday said three municipal wards in the eastern suburbs will experience water cuts for 24 hours between Friday and Saturday. Civic authorities said that owing to the ongoing construction of the Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR), the BMC is diverting an existing 1,200mm pipeline that is currently located in T-ward (Mulund). The BMC authorities said that besides T ward, water supply to the S (Kanjurmarg, Vikhroli) and N (Ghatkopar) wards will also be affected.
