The much-awaited sequel to the 2018 movie Stree, a horror comedy that left audiences in splits, will soon be released. The horror comedy Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is scheduled to entertain viewers on Independence Day in 2024. The filmmakers will unveil the trailer for the film on July 18 after the release of the teaser. Before the trailer is released, Shraddha has given fans an early glimpse at the terrifying experience in store for them.

Shraddha Kapoor posted new posters for her upcoming film, Stree 2, on Instagram today. One poster displayed a hand holding their braid, and it looked like the hand was glowing with lightning. There was a horrific shadow in the background.

Along with the title of the movie and the phrase “Sarkate ka aatank,” the poster also featured the tagline “O Stree raksha karna.” Additionally, it stated, “Trailer… 2 days to go.”

Shraddha’s character used her braid in the remaining two posters to fight off the evil spirit. Shraddha captioned the post, “Ek badi suchna – O Stree aa rahi hai in just 2 din! #Stree2 Trailer in 2 days! The legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August 2024.”

Stree 2 boasts an ensemble cast that includes Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Amar Kaushik helms the movie, which was produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande and presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan.

Stree 2, a horror comedy, will compete at the box office with Vedaa, a thriller starring John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh, and Khel Khel Mein, a romantic drama starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu. All of these films are also releasing on the August 15 holiday.
