When Ranveer Singh Won The Filmfare Award for Band Baaja Baaraat
Ranveer Singh completes 14 years in the film industry today. The actor made his Bollywood debut with Maneesh Sharma’s Band Baaja Baaraat opposite Anushka Sharma. He won the Best Debut Award (Male) at the 56th Filmfare Awards for the film and impressed one and all with his character Bittoo. The actor rushed towards the stage with excitement and innocence when his name was announced by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji at the Award show in 2011.
After accepting the Black Lady, Ranveer expressed his gratitude and said, “My whole reason for living is here tonight. My mom, dad, my beautiful sister Ritika. This is all you. Thank you Adi (Aditya Chopra) sir. I hereby pledge my entire life to entertaining you all. As long as I can. Thank you very much.”
