Adding to the celebrations, the makers of Anil Kapoor’s upcoming film Subedaar unveiled his intense first look from the movie. The poster introduced Kapoor’s character, Subedaar Arjun Maurya, promising a riveting portrayal. Sharing the announcement on Instagram, the filmmakers wrote, “A special day calls for a special announcement! #Subedaar, new movie, coming soon.”
The action-drama, directed by Suresh Triveni, features Radhika Madan as Shyama, the daughter of Kapoor’s character. The narrative explores Arjun Singh’s struggles as he transitions from a national hero to a father grappling with civilian challenges, societal dysfunction, and strained familial relationships.
Subedaar is produced jointly by Opening Image Films and Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network (AKFCN), with Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni, and Anil Kapoor serving as producers. Directed by Triveni, known for Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa, the movie promises to be a compelling addition to Kapoor’s illustrious career.
