BTS’ agency takes legal action over online harassment
Enjoying a global popularity also means that one is subjected to extreme scrutiny and trolling from time to time. South Korean boyband Bangtan Sonyeondan aka BTS’ agency has always been clear on one thing, that they would not tolerate any malicious behaviour targeted at any of their talents.

In a statement, BIGHIT said, “Since our previous notice, multiple suspects whose cases were forwarded to the prosecution have been fined up to two million won. Among them were individuals who continued uploading malicious posts despite being penalized in earlier complaints. One defendant, who posted hundreds of insulting and defamatory statements on their personal blog, has been convicted and fined a total of five million won. We remain committed to ensuring that suspects with ongoing investigations and legal proceedings are held accountable and face appropriate penalties.”
Currently, five out of seven BTS members are completing their mandatory military service. The septet includes Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jeon Jungkook, Jung Hoseok and Park Jimin.
