Every wedding is unique and has a special element in it. But have you ever seen a groom taking up the role of a priest and performing his own wedding rituals while chanting mantras? Well, in a recent wedding held in Haridwar, a groom left everyone in shock by taking up the role of a priest.

A groom turned priest for his own wedding

A groom from Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, left everyone in shock during his wedding in Kunja Bahadurpur, Haridwar. In a twist of events, the groom was seen reciting the Vedic mantras. For those who don’t know, Vedic mantras are an important part of an Indian wedding, which completes a Hindu wedding. 

Talking about the groom, Vivek Kumar was not only seen chanting the mantras but also performing the ritual, while the bride, who was sitting right beside him, looked the proudest. All in all, the video looked magical, and the atmosphere turned serene as the groom himself was seen reciting the mantras, which not only helped in purifying the souls and the union but also brought peace to the mind. 

According to Live Hindustan, the groom has learned the Vedic mantra over the years. He looked confident and knowledgeable as he performed the sacred mantras with ease. His decision to become a priest at his own wedding has left everyone in awe of him. 

As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, netizens penned their opinions. One user wrote, “No doubt, the couple resemble prince and princess. Let them live with happiness, peace, good health and prosperity for many many samvatsaras. Let them have many children who should surpass their father in Vedic knowledge and deeds.” Another one commented, “Lucky bride.”
