Sonakshi Sinha enjoys engaging with her fans and recently hosted a live session on her YouTube channel to answer their questions. When a fan asked if working after marriage is important and how her husband Zaheer Iqbal supports her, she shared her perspective. Sonakshi stated that marriage shouldn’t limit a person’s life and that a woman should have the freedom to decide whether she wants to work. She explained her decision to continue acting post-marriage and hinted at an upcoming project, though details remain undisclosed.

Responding to a fan’s question about working after marriage, Sonakshi Sinha said, “That’s a deep and profound question. I feel that marriage should not be the thing that defines your life; it should be a part of your life. Marriage should add to your life, not take away from it. So whether you want to work after marriage or not, it completely depends on the woman involved. For me, working is really important because I love my job. I feel really happy when I wake up in the morning and go to work. I’m a creative person, so when I am creating something beautiful, it brings me a lot of joy. That’s why I continue to work after marriage. But if someone doesn’t want to work, that’s also their choice, and that’s perfectly fine.”
Sonakshi on husband’s support
Sonakshi Sinha also shared how her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, supports her career. “By being my biggest cheerleader. I think Zaheer is the kind of person, meri khushi mein uski hhushi hai, and when he sees me happy and thriving, he is the happiest. It’s very important that your partner supports you no matter what you do,” she stated.
Sonakshi Sinha teases new project
Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen in Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness, directed by her brother Kussh Sinha, and an upcoming untitled romantic thriller by Karan Rawal. In addition to these, she teased another project but kept the details under wraps.
She said, “It’s really under wraps right now so main uske baare mein bata nahi sakti. But my year started very nicely. Saal ki shuruaat mein mujhe ek bohot achha project mila and I am really looking forward to working with this director but main aapko uske baare mein abhi nahi bata sakti. (It’s really under wraps right now, so I can’t talk about it. But my year started very nicely. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23, 2024, in Mumbai. They first met at a party hosted by Salman Khan. Zaheer, who debuted with Salman Khan’s production Notebook, later shared the screen with Sonakshi in Double XL and the music video Blockbuster.
