Dangal actress Suhani Bhatnagar passes away at 19, Aamir Khan’s team offers condolences
Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, best known for her role in Dangal, passed away on Friday in Delhi. She was 19-years-old.
As per reports, Suhani Bhatnagar was in the ICU where she was receiving treatment after a medication caused harmful side effects. The actress played young Babita Phogat in Dangal which also featured Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Aamir Khan’s team extended heartfelt condolences in a post that read, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”
Reports reveal that Suhani had a leg injury. The treatment led to side effects which caused her sudden demise. She was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for a prolonged period before her passing.
After Dangal, Suhani announced a break from acting to focus on her studies.
