Considering the popularity of the duo, the film, titled Coolie, is riding high on a lot of expectations. And recently adding to it Lokesh informed fans about kicking off the project from next month onwards and took to social media to share this good news.

Even the director Lokesh Kangaraj himself confessed that he couldn’t wait to start the film and recently he was seen doing look tests of the superstar. In fact, he took to the social media platform X, aka Twitter, to share a photo from this session where the filmmaker-actor are busy finalizing the look. If that’s not all, he also asserted that the film is indeed going on floors in the coming month. He shared a caption confirming these details saying, “Look test for #Coolie ?? On floors from July”.
Many fans took to the platform to react to the picture and along with that, they also shared their curiosity about catching this Lokesh-Rajini collaboration onscreen. Several netizens dropped fire and heart emojis appreciating the look whereas a few of them believed that this resembled his look from ‘Kaala’.

About Coolie
Coolie is expected to be a massy entertainer coming from the house of Lokesh Kangaraj but however, it will not be a part of the much-talked about LCU which includes films like Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo. While names of many actors have been doing the rounds when it comes to the cast, the makers are yet to make a final announcement on the same. Produced under the banner Sun Pictures, the film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander along with DOP Girish Gangadharan, editor Philomin Raj, and action directors Anbariv comprise of the rest of the technical crew.
