NEET paper leak case: CBI files first chargesheet, names 13 as accused | India News

The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed its first chargesheet in connection with the NEET paper leak case, the officials said on Thursday

In the chargesheet, the probe agency has named 13 accused — Nitish Kumar, Amit Anand, Sikander Yadvendu, Ashutosh Kumar-1, Roshan Kumar, Manish Prakash, Ashutosh Kumar-2, Akhilesh Kumar, Avdesh Kumar, Anurag Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, Shivnandan Kumar and Ayush Raj.

The case has been filed under 120-B, 201, 409, 380, 411, 420 and 109 sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

It was initially registered at Shastri Nagar Police Station in Patna and later was handed over to CBI.

The investigating agency arrested 40 accused in this case, including 15 nabbed by Bihar Police, and conducted searches at 58 locations.
