2NE1 reunites for 15th Anniversary World Tour Kicks Off in October
Blackjacks, get ready! YG Entertainment has officially announced that legendary K-pop girl group 2NE1 will be reuniting for their 15th anniversary. Founder Yang Hyun-suk revealed in a surprise video that the celebration will start with a concert tour extending into 2025.
2NE1 will kick off their tour in Seoul in early October, followed by performances in Osaka and Tokyo in November and December. Yang hinted at more tour stops, saying, “We’re adjusting schedules for further performances.”
Formed in 2009, 2NE1, comprising members CL, Dara, Bom, and Minzy, became trailblazers in the K-pop world with their unique music and fashion. They went on hiatus in 2015, and after Minzy’s departure, the group disbanded in 2016. Their final single, “Goodbye,” was released in 2017.
The group’s surprise reunion at Coachella 2022 left fans ecstatic, and now, with their 15th-anniversary tour, they’re set to make waves again. Yang also hinted at more exciting plans for YG in 2025, including comebacks from Blackpink and the debut of a new group.
