After Suffering Heart Attack, Actor Shreyas Talpade Undergoes Angioplasty
New Delhi: Actor Shreyas Talpade reportedly passed out on Thursday night in Mumbai after suffering a heart attack. The city’s Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West conducted an angioplasty on him, who needed to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. The well-known actor is 47 years old. On Thursday, Shreyas Talpade was filming for ‘Welcome to the Jungle’.
For the entire day, Talpade shot for the multi-starrer film, which is still in the underproduction stage, according to a source who spoke with Hindustan Times.
“He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way,” added the source.
There is not health update about the actor as of yet.
Over a two-decade career, Shreyas Talpade has starred in more than 45 movies. For his roles in Hindi and Marathi films, Talpade has received a great deal of praise from critics and audiences alike.
With a huge ensemble cast that includes Akshay Kumar, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ will feature Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and the singer-brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh.
With the release of the movie ‘Ajagratha’, Shreyas will also make his feature film debut in India. This movie, which is pitched as a psychological crime thriller, is directed by M Shashidhar. Radhika Kumaraswamy, a Kannada actress, will portray the main role in this film. Samuthirakani, Radhika Kumaraswamy, V Jayaprakash, Vinaya Prasad, and other actors are part of the ensemble cast of ‘Ajagratha’.
