Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who returned to direction with Lal Salaam, is gearing up for the release of the upcoming entertainer. The massy drama will see her father in an extended cameo. While the actor’s character poster as Moideen Bhai was already unveiled earlier this year, on the occasion of his birthday on December 12, she released another poster of the megastar along with a short teaser of sorts which gives a further insight into the character essayed by Rajinikanth.

Readers would recall that Rajinikanth shot for a major portion of Lal Salaam in Mumbai and the latest poster gives us a sneak peek of his character set against the backdrop of the city of dreams. In the said picture, the megastar is seen sitting in his usual ethnic wear of dhoti and shirt and in the background, is the image of the iconic sea link and a glimpse of the Mumbai skyline. Along with the photo which was shared by Aishwarya on Instagram, she also posted her special birthday wish for her father in the caption saying, “Mass machine and most magnetic magnificence of a man! Happy birthday APPA ! Here’s my humble tribute on this day from #lycaproductions @arrahman sir and us a team of underdogs”.
Apart from this, she also shared the link of the teaser which gives us a further sneak peek into the character of Moideen Bhai essayed by Rajini in this sports-action drama.
For the unversed, in November, Aishwarya unveiled the first teaser of Lal Salaam, which went on to showcase how a cricket game turns into a war and the ground into a battlefield. With music composed by A R Rahman, Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead along with Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai in supporting roles.
