Ali Fazal, who is currently enjoying his fatherhood, seems to be taking a trip down memory lane. In what seems to be a random pick, the actor shared a throwback photo from the 2022 film Death On The Nile, inspired by the Agatha Christie novel. The actor, who has done quite a bit of international projects, featured in the film as Andrew Katchadourian – the victim’s financial manager and cousin.

Taking us back to the days when this whodunit thriller was shot, Ali Fazal took to his Instagram feed to share a quirky photo of the entire team together on the platform. He reminisced about shooting for the same and penned the caption, “Sinister and stupid hehe .. when we had ample time to kill among other peeps. !!! To the whodunnits of all time and being part of it oh and to these wonderful people i worked with not too long ago.. Rose’s mould statue is accompanying us too.. Agatha Christie’s Death On The Nile directed by Sir Kenneth Brannagh.. #agathachristie”.
For the unversed, Death On The Nile featured an ensemble cast with Kenneth Branagh and Tom Bateman reprising their roles as Hercule Poirot and Bouc, respectively, alongside Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright.
The film, which released in February 2022, is the second one in the series of Agatha Christie set of novel adaptations, produced by Branagh himself along with Ridley Scott, Judy Hofflund, and Kevin J. Walsh. Interestingly, this was the second version of the novel since the first adaptation was released way back in 1978. The story revolves around heiress Linnet Ridgeway who is murdered on a cruise ship which includes many of her guests who accompanied her for her honeymoon trip to Egypt.
