As Bollywood celebrated Diwali 2024 with warmth and festivity, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor brought a blend of spirituality and elegance to their family gathering. The couple celebrated the occasion with their daughter Raha Kapoor, posting a heartfelt glimpse of their Diwali puja on Instagram. The celebration was a special family affair with Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor joining them.

Diwali in Golden Hues
In the series of photos shared on social media, Alia and Ranbir can be seen donning traditional attire in matching golden hues. Alia opted for a delicate golden organza saree, while Ranbir complemented her in a plain silk kurta of the same colour. Little Raha, in a kurta-pant set with her signature tiny ponytails, added a touch of sweetness to the family photos.
Alia captioned the post, “Lights, love, and precious moments. Happy Diwali,” capturing the joyful essence of the celebration. The couple’s coordinated outfits and serene setting became the highlight of the post.
The Diwali puja brought together Alia and Ranbir’s close family members, symbolising the importance of togetherness during the festive season. In one of the heartwarming images, the Brahmastra actors were seen assisting Raha with the aarti ki thali, while Raha, seemingly distracted, looked into the camera. The final photo in the series showed a rangoli made of marigold and jasmine flowers, adding to the traditional ambiance of their home.
The pictures received an outpouring of love in the comments section. Soni Razdan expressed her affection with “My babies,” while Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, added a “Love” comment along with a heart emoji. Fashion stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania called it “Cuteness!” with a golden heart, and Jigra director Vasan Bala left a diya emoji, adding to the festive warmth.
