The pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are underway in Jamnagar, Gujarat, proving to be a sartorial spectacle for millions witnessing it vicariously through social media. As day 1 set the bar high, day 2 surpassed expectations with the themes ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ and ‘Mela Rouge’, attracting a multitude of celebrities and business tycoons to partake in the celebrations.

While the first day of the Jamnagar gala saw Radhika Merchant in a stunning Atelier Versace gown, day 2 was equally impressive as the bride stepped out in a multi-coloured fringe dress by London-based designer Ashish Gupta for the ‘Mela Rouge’ theme.
For the jungle-themed soirée, Radhika and her to-be mother-in-law Nita Ambani posed elegantly, with Radhika in a blue cheetah-print dress and matching hat, while Nita opted for a metallic green co-ord set accessorised with a pair of sunglasses.
Isha Ambani dazzled in a Chanel Haute Couture gown from their Spring-Summer 2018 collection, teamed with diamond bracelets and matching drop earrings.
She later stunned in a sheer black Louis Vuitton gown, accentuated with chunky gold jewellery.
Akash and Shloka Ambani, the brother and bhabhi of the groom and bride, shared a heartwarming moment where Akash donned an animal-print jacket with beige pants, while Shloka complemented him in Miu Miu khaki pants and a grey crop top.
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan made a notable appearance in Rahul Mishra’s creations, with Mark donning the Le Soleil Sunderbans short organza shirt with white trousers, while Priscilla stunned in a snake-print strappy dress.
For the evening, they opted for Mishra’s designs once more, with Mark in a floral-print cream Sherwani and Priscilla in a magnificent lehenga, featuring intricate motifs.
