In another proud moment, Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light has been nominated for the Critics Choice Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. This comes on the heels of the film’s historic nominations at the Golden Globe Awards for Best Director – Motion Picture (marking the first-ever nomination for an Indian woman in this category) and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language.

The film was recently awarded Best Film Not in the English Language by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. This Critics Choice Awards nomination further solidifies the film’s position as a groundbreaking achievement in contemporary Indian cinema, celebrating its artistry and resonance with audiences worldwide.

Currently, All We Imagine As Light is in its third week across the theatres in India. The film witnessed increasing demand, prompting additional shows across major cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar. This resurgence in theatres speaks volumes about the film’s appeal and the deep connection with audiences at home. Notably, the film has continued its uninterrupted theatrical run in Karnataka and Kerala.
