National Award Winner Allu Arjun is undeniably one of the most celebrated superstars in Indian cinema today. The Pushpa actor, who is currently busy shooting for Pushpa 2: The Rule, opened up about prioritizing and value Indian Culture. The superstar and his family never kept themselves away from promoting the Indian culture and time and again as they are not only seen celebrating the festivals but also expressing their love for it several ways including social media posts. Recently, Allu Arjun was present at a chat show where he was seen talking about the importance of the country’s culture and heritage.
Allu Arjun addresses the need to ‘own our culture’; says, “We come from a generation who feel little apologetic about owning who we are”
Despite being one of the biggest stars, Allu Arjun maintained the need for staying rooted to the culture and traditions. During this chat show, Arjun discussed about it and expressed pride over the younger generation accepting and following it. He said, “I have seen youngsters are liking their culture more, they are celebrating their festivals even more. They are dressing up in their culture, they are eating food, and also looking rich in culture. We have started to own it up.”
Continuing the subject, he added, “Somehow we come from a generation who feel little apologetic about owning who we are. I think that is rapidly changing and I think celebrities and even media has got a huge role and responsibility of in projecting our culture. We should own our culture.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is wrapping up the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, which will see him once again reunite with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Sukumar, the massive entertainer, mounted on a huge budget, will be hitting the big screens on August 15, 2024 in multiple languages including Hindi.
