South actress Amala Paul, who had a dreamy wedding about seven months ago, has announced the arrival of her first child with husband Jagat Desai on social media. The couple was blessed with a baby boy on June 17 and they took to the platform to share this good news with their fans and followers, along with giving a glimpse of their homecoming ceremony.

Amala Paul arrived at her beautiful home with Jagat Desai with their newborn in her arms and she received a grand welcome from her family. In the video, which was shared as a joint post by the couple on social media, Amala is seen looking thrilled as she gets a surprise in the form of a beautiful nursery which was decorated for her baby. While it was filled with beige and white colored balloons, there was a cradle for their infant.

Meanwhile, in the announcement, the couple not only announced about the arrival of their baby boy but unveiled his name as well, which is ‘Ilai’. In the caption they shared the deets along with his birth date and added, “”It’s a boy” !! Meet our little miracle, “ILAI”  orn on 11.06.2024”.

In an earlier post, which was shared by Amala last month, she penned a heartfelt note dedicating it to her husband, thanking him for his support through her pregnancy journey. “From the late nights spent by my side, gently easing my discomforts, to your unwavering belief in me and your uplifting words that filled me with strength, thank you for being my rock during this precious journey of pregnancy. Your willingness to fly down to support me in even the smallest moments when my confidence wavered fills my heart with gratitude and love. I must have done something truly wonderful in this life to deserve a man as incredible as you. Thank you for being my constant source of strength, love, and unwavering support. I love you more than words can express.”

The couple tied the knot on November 6 in a beautiful beach wedding in Kerala as per Christian rituals and it was a private affair with family members and close friends in attendance.
