Actress Ameesha Patel surprised fans with a glimpse into her surprisingly minimalistic makeup kit. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, the actress revealed her beauty secrets and the products she swears by.

Patel confessed to being a low-maintenance beauty enthusiast, preferring a natural look over heavy makeup. “I’m not a person who uses makeup every day unless I’m maybe in front of a camera, and even then, it’s the basic minimal,” she shared. The actress’s makeup kit reflects this philosophy, consisting of only essential items that can be easily carried on the go.

A Peek Inside Ameesha Patel’s Makeup Kit

Patel’s makeup pouch is a compact Louis Vuitton travel case that houses her beauty essentials. Surprisingly, the kit is devoid of an overwhelming number of products, focusing instead on versatility and efficiency.

“I have a travel size hair brush with a hair tie, a basic Clarence compact foundation cum powder with SPF, and just two makeup brushes – one for concealer and the other for blush,” she revealed. Patel’s love for pink is evident in her collection, with several pink-toned lip glosses and blushers finding a place in her kit.

The actress also shared her tips for achieving a natural glow. “I like to have that glow from within,” she said. She uses a pH-balanced blush that adapts to the skin’s natural undertone, creating a healthy flush. A Chanel highlighter adds a subtle shimmer, completing the look.

A Minimalist Approach

For those days when a little more coverage is needed, Patel relies on a concealer and a versatile eye pencil from Dior. She emphasised the importance of multi-functional products that can be used in various ways. “I’m a very basic kind of makeup girl for every day,” Patel reiterated. “This tiny kit can easily last me for 10-15 days, which is doing the bare minimum,” she concluded.
