Now, we got hold of one of her old interviews, wherein she revealed her healthy diet. However, while sharing a stunning anecdote about her mother, the actress talked about how her trendy diet plan also includes some of the essences of her mother’s lifestyle.

A Reddit user shared an old interview of Anushka Sharma along with her Phillauri co-star, Diljit Dosanjh, probably from the time when the movie was just released. Thus, during the conversation, she was heard revealing her healthy and trendy food habits. She gave a piece of advice to her viewers and mentioned, “I think avoid a few things and avoid them all the time. I don’t eat gluten, main gehu nhi khati, main cheeni bhi nhi leti hu, and main milk and milk products nhi khaati.” To this, Diljit said, “Chalo bhai”, and the two stars, along with the interviewer, started laughing it out loud.

But impatiently Anushka interrupted and said, “Though, iske jo alternatives hotey hai bahut achche hai, wo kha pati hu, amrand ke roti khati ru, rajgeri ke roti khati hu, bajre ki, jowar ki, quinoa ki roti bhi banti hai, apne jaise dekha hai nah.” Well, Anushka’s revelation might have amazed Diljit as he was seen looking in awe at her while she was speaking. Thus, the actress said, “He is looking very shocked ki ye kya bol rhi hai.” Further, Diljit added:
“Maine ye naam hi pehli baar suni hai nah.”

Finally, Anushka shared an amazing anecdote about her mother, Ashima Sharma, who hailed from the hills of Uttarakhand, named Garhwal. The doting daughter mentioned that whenever she used to ask her mother to cook healthy food, her mother used to tell her how she has been eating the same for ages. Anushka shared:
“Par ye sab jo hai, all because my mother is from Garhwal from the hills, rajgiri and all mummy ke waha ke log vaise bhi khate the toh abhi jo main sareein cheezein mummy ko bolti hu mummy mere liye bana do, meri mummy bolti hai, ‘ye toh hum kabse khate aye hai’ mtlb you know mummy kahi bhi restaurant jayengi and bolengi, ‘ye toh main ghar mein bana sakti hu’. Meri mummy waaisi waali hai.”

As soon as the video was shared on the discussion platform, netizens started reacting to it. While one user wrote, “Haha ya. Like no gluten, no sugar and no milk is basically avoiding everything and not few things”, another mentioned, “Sometimes I eat all three in one meal….eg breakfast me chini + doodh wali chai and maathi.” One more comment read, “Meri mummy waisi wali hain. Anushka shared her fitness regime with Virat during the lockdown
In an old conversation with Pinkvilla, Anushka was asked about her and hubby, Virat Kohli’s fitness regime during the lockdown. To which, she revealed that they weren’t doing anything special with their diets and are following a normal daily routine. She also mentioned eating food which is alkaline, as it’s kind of easy on the stomach and keeps one healthy. Further, revealing how they boot their energy, Anushka mentioned having haldi in the morning when they wake up, and a tea mixed with haldi ginger and Kali mirch. Moreover, they try to drink a lot of water and keep pushing themselves whenever they think of not doing their workout session.
