Arjun Kapoor on being there for Malaika Arora after her father’s death
Now, Arjun Kapoor has opened up about being there for Malaika during the difficult period. In an interview, Arjun shared that it was an impulse, comparing it to the time he was there for father Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi after they lost Sridevi. He said, “If I’ve formed an emotional bond with somebody, I would always like to believe that I will be there regardless of the good and the bad. If I’m invited for the good, I will be there. And if I’m needed for the bad, I will be there.”
Malaika Arora’s father passed away on September 11 this year. He reportedly died after falling from the balcony of his home on the 6th floor. The police confirmed that he died of multiple injuries from the fall.
In a statement following his passing, Malaika wrote, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect. With gratitude, Joyce, Malaika, Amrita, Shakeel, Arhaan, Azaan, Rayyan, Casper, AXL, Duffy and Buddy”
