‘Kareena Kapoor Practices Christianity Like Mother Babita’ Reveals Taimur’s Ex Nanny, Lalita D Silva: ‘Asked Me To Play Hyms and Ik Onkaar’

The beloved Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan, is often spotted with her little ones, Taimur and Jeh, mostly around her Bandra dwelling. Always seen dotting on her kids, the family is known for its frequent vacation adventures, often overseas. Despite catching casual glimpses of their much-loved Bebo in her mom-mode, fans remain intrigued about her approach to parenting. This curiosity led to a recent inquiry into the parenting techniques of the Khan household, put forth to Taimur Ali Khan’s ex-nanny, a pediatric nurse known as Lalita D Silva or simply, Lata.

When the curious interviewer from YouTube channel Hindi Rush asked Lata a question, she responded, “Kareena is very loving towards her kids. She is extremely disciplined and I think that is because her mother (Babita) too is extremely disciplined. I haven’t seen Kareena’s childhood personally, but from what she had said, I was told that her mother was extremely disciplined, always paid attention to their studies, and maintain and follow a timetable (sic).”

Lata revealed the hidden spiritual side of the actress. She said, “Kareena Kapoor follows Christanity as her mother does. She used to tell me if you like to play hymns, play hymns for my kids (Taimur and Jeh). I used to play hymns. Kareena also used to ask me to play the Punjabi hymn — Ek Onkaar. She also knows that it is important to keep our kids surrounded with positive vibes (sic).”

Lata, who presently cares for Ram Charan and Upasana’s little girl, Klin Kara, shared her feelings on those who post mean comments online. She asked why celebrities often become the bull’s-eye for such unnecessary criticism, affirming that public figures tend to be more cautious and well-versed in matters like parenting. According to Lata, folks often stir up unnecessary controversy and bash celebrities unreasonably, driven by their self-interests.

Lata caught the public eye initially while handling the overwhelming focus on Taimur, Bebo’s young son. Despite her efforts to protect the child from incessant media glare, she instead became prominently known. It came to light later that Lata was also entrusted with the care of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani. Lively contributions from Anant and Radhika’s wedding flooded her recent posts, a celebration where she had a noticeable presence.
