Disney’s D23 Expo ignited fervent excitement among Marvel fans with the highly anticipated reveal of the first footage for Daredevil: Born Again. The series, set to debut on Disney+ in March 2025, marks the triumphant return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer with extraordinary abilities. The return of the core cast, alongside new additions like Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl, and Ayelet Zurer who takes over the role of Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, promises a fresh dynamic while honouring the beloved characters from the original Netflix series. Moreover, the panel brought a surprise with the announcement of a second season already in the works.

Daredevil: Born Again‘s initial conception as an 18-episode series was later scaled down to a more traditional Disney+ format, allowing for a more focused narrative.
While the Netflix series, which ran from 2015 to 2018, was critically acclaimed, its removal from the platform and subsequent addition to Disney+ marked a significant shift in the character’s trajectory. Cox and D’Onofrio’s appearances in the MCU through films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and series like Hawkeye and Echo have only intensified the anticipation for their solo projects.
