New Delhi: Amid uncertain weather in the capital city, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts clear sky with a maximum temperature reaching upto 21 degrees Celsius and a nighttime temperature of around 7 degrees Celsius on Thursday. The capital city is expected to experience strong surface winds with a speed upto 25-35 kmph during the day.

Delhi Weather: Wednesday

Yesterday, the daytime temperature was 20.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal. As pe the weather department, the air quality was in the “moderate” category yesterday. The humidity level was recorded between 92 per cent and 32 per cent during the day, as reported by news agency PTI.

Delhi Weather: AQI Level in Delhi

In early morning, the AQI level was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category, for the third straight day. On Tuesday, AQI was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category with 141 AQI, according to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.

Notably, the air quality between 0 and 50 is considered as ‘good’ and breathable, AQI between 51 and 100 is considered as ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 is considered as ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 is ‘poor’, and an AQI between 301 and 400 is considered as ‘very poor’, and AQI between 401 and 500 is ‘severe’.

Delhi Weather: IMD Forecast For Upcoming Days

As per IMD, the capital city is expected to witness the maximum temperature between 21-25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will hover around 7-10 degrees Celsius throughout this week.

According to IMD, there are very less to no chances of rain today. mostly likely the sky in the capital city will remain clear with wind speed upto 25-35 kmph during the day.
