A young man landed in the hospital after he tried to play with a cobra in an inebriated state. According to reports, the incident took place near a college in the Kadiri area of the Sri Sathya Sai district in Andhra Pradesh.
The cobra entered the college premises, following which Madhubabu Nagaraju, who was allegedly drunk, tried to grab it. Later, when the snake escaped into the bushes, the man brought it back and began playing with it. In the viral video, Nagaraju can be seen hitting the snake’s head. In the blink of an eye, the cobra bites him.
The video also captures onlookers warning Nagaraju.
Sharing the video, X user Sudhakar Udumula wrote, “Despite frantic warnings and scoldings from concerned bystanders, he continued to handle the cobra with reckless abandon. The situation took a perilous turn when the cobra bit Nagaraju. Shocked onlookers quickly called for an ambulance, and Nagaraju was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.”

With more than 48,000 views, the video amassed reactions as social media users raised concerns. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “Why is that no one taking right action ? There are few people around him. Thanks to the people who called ambulance.” Another user commented, “Instead of making video, someone could have pulled him aside and allowed the snake to escape. Snake was very much patient for long time.”
“Observe how the snake gave warning and hesitated to bite for the maximum possible extent. Animals are more sensible than humans,” a third user reacted.
