ESPN Issues An Apology After Showing A Video of A Woman Baring Her Breasts During The Sugar Bowl Broadcast

Because of the 8:45 p.m. ET kickoff, it was understandable that things were a little wild outside, to the point where ESPN cameras broadcast a woman flashing her breasts at a balcony above. While the clip went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter), with most comments being in a lighthearted manner, the four-letter network issued an apology in a statement. During the Sugar Bowl, ESPN panned down New Orleans’ famous Bourbon Street, showing off some of the local nightlife.

After returning from a commercial break during Washington’s 37-31 victory over Texas, ESPN’s Bill Hofheimer said in a statement to the Associated Press, “We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast.” The Huskies secured a shot at the national championship against Michigan in Houston on January 8.
