Bollywood is set to witness an extravaganza as an ensemble cast comes together for the film, Khel Khel Mein. Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal have joined forces for this promising project. Marking a much-awaited return to the silver screen after a 14-year hiatus, Fardeen Khan expressed his excitement about the film and his co-stars. In a candid conversation with Bollywood Hungama, he shared his experience of reuniting with Akshay Kumar, a co-star from the film Heyy Babyy.

“The first time was very special. This time to work again, different kind of film but friendship and respect [remains],” Fardeen reminisced. “He is someone I admire, whose career I have followed. There’s a lot to learn from this man. He probably might not know but I observe him very closely. I have learnt from this guy from the time of Heyy Babyy. I still do, today. He is a pleasure to work with. We are becoming friends. I think there is a healthy respect. We had fun, we were on set and it didn’t feel like work.”
Fardeen Khan is also expected to work with Akshay Kumar in Housefull 5. The highly anticipated film is gearing up to be another laughter riot, with Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar reuniting for the fifth installment of the comedy franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is set to kick off its production in late August with a London schedule followed by an exciting cruise-based shoot. The core cast includes Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, and Abhishek Bachchan.
Khel Khel Mein is slated to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. The film is a joint venture between Gulshan Kumar’s T-Series and Wakaoo Films, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D. Shah, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai.
