Georgia Man Shoots Man Asking For Money At A Gas Station
A Georgia man is facing a murder charge after fatally shooting a 23-year-old man at a gas station.
According to reports, Quinterius Sutton fired at Anderson Adonay-Perdomo after Anderson asked him for money. The 26-year-old is now facing multiple charges. In addition to murder, he’s charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and driving without a valid license, per PEOPLE.

What Happened At The Georgia Gas Station?
Witnesses reportedly detailed the fatal incident to police. The shooting happened at a Quik Trip gas station in Chamblee, Georgia — right outside of metro Atlanta — on March 18. Before his death, Anderson was reportedly asking people for money.
At about 12:35 p.m. that day, he approached Quinterius’ car. According to Lt. Mike Winfield of Chamblee Police Department, Quinterius shot Anderson once in the torso and fled the scene.
But the 26-year-old didn’t make it far! Police caught up with him in East Point, Georgia, after automated license plate readers had recognized the vehicle’s plates. Meanwhile, Anderson was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital but passed away the same day.
What’s Next For Quinterius Sutton?
It’s unknown whether Quinterius Sutton has entered a plea or secured a lawyer. However, he’s being held in DeKalb County jail.
According to 11Alive, Quinterius was also wanted in connection to a deadly shooting on August 23, 2023. That incident also happened in DeKalb County and involved the death of another man outside of Wooden Nickel located on Tucker Norcross Road.
Quinterius is charged with murder for allegedly killing 21-year-old Trevor Stephenson.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Atlanta area, another man named Rickey Carter was sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting his friend over $35.
