Here’s an update on the release date of John Abraham’s Vedaa
John Abraham’s highly anticipated film Vedaa, also starring Sharvari Wagh, is set to hit theatres on August 15. However, its release is in jeopardy as it is yet to receive clearance from the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
On Thursday, the film’s makers issued an official statement addressing the issue. They highlighted that despite submitting the film well in advance, there has been no response from the CBFC since its screening on June 25. The producers have called on fans and supporters to help expedite the process to ensure the film meets its intended release date. The CBFC is scheduled to view the movie on Monday, July 29, 2024.
The statement reads: “We, the producers of Vedaa, are still waiting for a clearance and certification from the CBFC of India. It is our earnest request that these words reach those who can help us resolve this impasse.”
Vedaa promises to be a gripping action-thriller inspired by current events, and the producers remain hopeful for a timely resolution to bring it to audiences
