Hrithik Roshan backs Bosco Martis as he calls out the industry for not giving choreographers credit

Fighter is one of the most-anticipated films in 2024. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, it has an ensemble cast featuring Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor in the lead. Two songs from the movie, Sher Khul Gaye and Ishq Jaisa Kuch, are out.

Bosco Martis raised the concern over choreographers’ names being excluded in song promos and films. He said, “It’s been 22 years we’ve been doing choreography and still find it a struggle to have our names included in any promotional material for movies. Despite songs and dances being celebrated nationwide and worldwide, it’s disheartening that nobody recognizes the choreographers until we actively promote our names.”

He furthermore added that recently they were miffed when they saw the name of the music director come in but the names of the choreographers were excluded.

Bosco Martis is one of the top choreographers in the film industry. He has choreographed both songs from Fighter. Hrithik Roshan was pretty disturbed about it and did what had to be done in the film credits. He reportedly spoke to the director to make the changes and now the YouTube version of the songs has his name in the credits.

The film is slated to release on January 25, 2023.
