On July 25, Jacqueline Fernandez stole the show for designer Isha Jajodia at India Couture Week 2024. After walking the ramp, she spoke exclusively with IndiaToday.in about her experience, admitting that she was pretty scared. For those who were unaware, the actor returned to the ramp after an extended absence. She also discussed 10 years of Kick with Salman Khan.
Jacqueline Fernandez makes a stunning comeback on the ramp at India Couture Week 2024, after a long break
Jacqueliene looked stunning in an embroidered black gown and a sheer cloak of the same colour. Her hair was tied into a top knot. She paired her attire with a bold neckpiece and a sparkly watch. She chose crimson lips to complete her outfit.
The actress shared a photo of her ramp walk from last night and thanked her designer on the event. “Dear @isha___13 your collection yesterday was a dream come true @roseroom__official has always been a favourite of mine with it’s ethereal charm! Congrats for another stunning show! Thank you @dia_logues for the most exquisite jewellery! (sic).”
Following the event, Jacqueliene spoke exclusively with IndiaToday.in about returning to the runway after a long absence. She said, “I was really nervous. My line was wobbling and I was really nervous. I haven’t been on the ramp for a while now. It was a bit nerve-wracking. Finally, when I started walking, I had a lot of fun. People were great, the energy was good and the dress was so beautiful. It was for my dear friend, Isha [Jajodia], whose work I really love. It was great to be back.”
On July 25, Kick turned ten years old. Talking about the same, she said, “Today is a very special day. Being back on the ramp but also 10 years to Kick. Time has just flown. But I see a lot more to happen, a lot more to come. So, I am really excited about that.”
Sharing her favourite anecdote during the shoot days of Kick, she said, “I was just shooting for a few days for ‘Kick’ and Salman was not there and then. He made an entrance and I remember the whole set stopped. And I remember being like ‘Oh my gosh’, I am so grateful to have this film.’ It was amazing.”
On the work front, Jacqueliene Fernandez’s upcoming projects include Fateh and Welcome To The Jungle.
