Apart from appreciating their talent, Kamal Haasan also stated in his note that he appreciated the entire teamwork of the players who came together to win the trophy against Spain. Along with sharing some photos from the game on the social media platform X, aka Twitter, Kamal captioned it saying, “From the first whistle to the final hooter – our hockey players displayed attacking artistry and dogged defensive skills of Champions. The camaraderie among these playres took them to the podium and made India beam with pride!” Along with that he also praised the Indian hockey player P. R. Sreejesh adding, “@16sreejesh Take a bow – a fitting end to a remarkable career. A shield between the goal posts, titan and a true ambassador of the game.”
