Two highly anticipated movies, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (an action-packed thriller) and Maidaan (a biographical sports drama) were released this Eid. Ajay Devgn takes on the lead role in Maidaan, while Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff star in the dynamic duo of BMCM. Director Karan Johar has given a shoutout to both films, praising the thrilling action in BMCM and expressing his eagerness to see Ajay’s performance in the biopic.
On April 12, Karan Johar took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts on the recently released movies Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan. He expressed his admiration for the action-packed sequences in BMCM and his anticipation to witness Ajay Devgn’s career-best performance in Maidaan.
On his Instagram Stories, Karan posted a poster of BMCM, which starred Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar. He said, “A must-watch festive bonanza! With action on the highest and hugest level! The 2 miyas make for a rocking duo!!! @akshaykumar @tigerjackieshroff @jackie_bhagnani @aliabbaszafar.”
Beside a poster for the film Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn, Karan wrote, “Have heard the most incredible things about MAIDAAN!! I also can’t wait to watch what is universally touted as @ajaydevgn’s career-best performance! @iamitrsharma @boney.kapoor @zeestudiosofficial.”
Akshay Kumar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, and Ronit Roy are among the cast members of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Under the banner of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar produce the mass entertainer, which Zafar directs.
In Maidaan, Ajay Devgn takes on the challenging role of Syed Abdul Rahim, a football coach, in a heartwarming story of determination and triumph. A talented cast, including Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh, joins him. The movie is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and is a collaboration between Zee Studios & Bayview Projects, presented by Fresh Lime Films. The producers are Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla.
