Sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor showcased their bond on Koffee With Karan 8, playfully exposing each other in front of Karan Johar. Earlier, Janhvi had shared in an exclusive chat that she has a maternal instinct toward Khushi. Now, Khushi reveals that while they are now each other’s confidantes, their relationship wasn’t always so smooth. In the past, their frequent arguments revolved around just one particular issue.
Khushi Kapoor opens up on sharing clothes with Janhvi Kapoor: “Our closets are open to each other”
In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Khushi Kapoor shared, “We used to steal each other’s clothes and shoes, like any other siblings. But now, we don’t care as much. Now, our closets are open to each other. So, it’s not a matter of fighting anymore.”
Before her acting debut in The Archies, Khushi admitted she would get nervous whenever she saw Janhvi being photographed by the paparazzi.
Khushi Kapoor, who is set to star in Loveyapa alongside Junaid Khan, revealed, “Earlier, I used to see her get papped wearing my dress and I would go, ‘Why did you take my dress without asking me?’ Now, it’s okay if she steals anything that belongs to me. I think she too is okay if I take her things without asking her (laughs).” However, she now doesn’t mind and believes Janhvi feels the same when she borrows her things. Khushi has frequently been spotted wearing Janhvi’s outfits, including the glamorous black dress Janhvi donned on Koffee With Karan.
Khushi Kapoor describes herself as an “honest critic” of Janhvi’s work and believes her sister has the potential to achieve great success in Bollywood. She stated, “I won’t say that I’m a harsh critic but I’m very honest, especially if I’m close to the person. I would like to give an honest opinion to my family and friends. I don’t think I’ll ever be harsh. My intention is never to hurt anyone’s feelings. I really believe in my sister and I think she’s capable of being the best ever. If I like some of her work more than the others, I’ll be very honest about it.”
