Nick Cannon Shares His Thoughts On Possibly Getting Back With Mariah Carey
Cannon spoke exclusively with E! News in an interview published on Tuesday, August 6. During his chat, the 43-year-old shared that he would “be stupid” if he “wouldn’t” want to get back with Carey.
“We belong together,” he reportedly joked, later humorously adding why that may not happen. “She don’t want me.”
Cannon’s ‘We Playin’ Spades’ co-host Courtney Bee was reportedly present during the conversation. At that point, she reportedly humorously chimed in with, “Yeah, you done left and had like 10 kids.”
In turn, Cannon added, “A whole baseball team. Like, ‘No, you can’t come back home.’”
The Father Of 12 Speaks On Her Relationship With The Fellow Moms Of His Kids
According to the outlet, as the conversation continued, Cannon divulged that Carey and the fellow mothers of his children, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott, “get along amazing.”
Despite this, Cannon explained that he never “expect[ed] them to.”
“…But it’s like everybody lives their own life, before me and after me,” he added. “So I think that’s how you keep the peace and everybody moving…”
Cannon explained that the mothers of his children are “worried about themselves and not worried about what someone else is.”
“As long as the kids are happy and they have the strongest understanding, I think that’s what makes sense,” he said. “You gotta operate out of that.”
Nick Cannon Previously Opened Up About The Pressure Of Coordinating Time With His Kids
As The Shade Room previously reported, Cannon shares twins named Moroccan and Monroe with Carey. Additionally, he’s fathered three children with Bell, three with De La Rosa, a son with Tiesi, a daughter with Cole, and a daughter and deceased son with Scott.
Earlier this year, in March, Cannon made headlines when he opened up about the challenge of coordinating time with his kids during holidays. Most specifically, Cannon touched on his Father’s Day plans.
“See, that’s the thing, that sounds like a lot of pressure on me,” Cannon lightly told Too Fab. “Mother’s Day is hard enough already, Like, Father’s Day I just want to relax. Send me an e-mail, text me; I’ll be sleep.”
