New Delhi: Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata on Saturday. Though the exact reason for his admission was not shared by his close associate, he said that the actor was feeling discomfort since morning and was thus taken to the hospital for prompt medical attention.

Mithun Chakraborty’s close friend present in the hospital shared that there is no need to worry about the actor and that he is fine.

A source informed that the medical team is diligently looking after Mithun Da, as he is affectionately known among his fans.

While there were initial speculations about chest pain, a source from the hospital dismissed these claims, clarifying that Mithun Chakraborty was primarily feeling uneasy. Reports suggesting a brain stroke are also doing the rpunds, but no official confirmation has been provided.

Mithun Chakraborty has been in Kolkata since last week and working on his upcoming Bengali film ‘Shastri’.
