on this 32nd Balidaan Divas.
Son of late Insp Purshottam Singh Narania, JKP and late Smt. Rama Narania of Talab Tillo, Jammu, SI Vijay Singh Narania was among the first casualties of the treacherous Terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. He attained Veergati on 18th July 1992 while fighting head-on with Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorists in Doda town. Despite being equipped only with a Service Revolver he didn’t hesitate for a moment and went inside the house in which the terrorist was hiding. In the ensuing gunfight he was gravely injured in a grenade attack.
