Amidst the frenzy around Border 2, Pooja Bhatt & Suniel Shetty of the 1997 blockbuster film Border are reuniting after 27 years for a new thriller. Though they were both there in Border, the duo didn’t share an arc. This news comes weeks after Suniel Shetty had shared his look from the sets of the same project.
Pooja Bhatt who is no stranger to strong female roles is believed to play a badass iron lady sort of a character in this project as well. Talking about the upcoming project, Pooja Bhatt said, “I have always had the privilege and made the choice to portray empowered women on screen. I was immediately drawn to this character for the sheer power, depth & empathy she exudes.”
Talking further about her character, she said, “Her ability to take a stand for what she believes in and face challenges head-on is something I connect with on a personal level. Can’t wait for audiences to see this new avatar.”
Ever since her comeback, Pooja Bhatt has been on a roll and appeared in a variety of projects like Bombay Begums and Big Girls Don’t Cry and she even participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2 last year.
