Preity Zinta attended the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. She dazzled in a pink-coloured saree as she arrived for the screening of the film ‘La Plus Precieuse des Marchandises’ (The Most Precious of Cargoes).

Preity looked stunning in a Seema Gujral-designed, embellished saree. Describing her look as “simple yet with a little bit of sparkle,” Preity expressed her excitement about being at the Cannes Film Festival after a long time.

However, another thing that caught people’s attention was her accent when she spoke at the event. People on social media platforms questioned why she was using a “fake accent”.

Preity Zinta made her Cannes debut in 2006 and later returned to the festival as a brand ambassador for a watch brand.
