Noted actor and filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran expressed his desire to direct stalwarts such as Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan during a recent interview. Sukumaran made his directorial debut with Lucifer in 2019. He shared that he wanted to pitch a film to megastar Rajinikanth and it was an adaptation of an idea that he initially imagined for SRK.

He said, “I was in London and I met Subaskaran (Subaskaran Allirajah) sir. We were having lunch. I pitched him an idea that I wanted to do with Rajini sir, which is an adaptation of an idea that I developed when someone else reached out to me to direct a Hindi film that I wanted to pitch to Shah Rukh.”

On the work front, Prithviraj Sukumaran was last seen in the film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. He has an exciting lineup of projects such as L2: Empuraan, Zayed Masood, Vilayath Buddha, Nobody and Santhosh Trophy.
