While audiences in India are eager to see what Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan has in store for them in Citadel: Honey Bunny, the American version of this action thriller series is gearing for the second season. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who left us impressed with her high-octane action as Nadia in Citadel, has kicked off the new season of the Prime Video web-show and dropped an update about the same on social media on September 18, sparking excitement among fans of the show.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently returned after wrapping up her much-anticipated film The Bluff in Australia, has dived into her next commitment which will feature in the role of an undercover agent. She took to social media to make the announcement by sharing a video of her in an all-black outfit and asking the audience to take a tour with her of the sets of the web-show as she is seen moving around in a buggy. The actress says, “Come with me” as she shares glimpses of what the sets of Citadel 2 looks like. Furthermore, the video also includes several random montages like PC attempting to take a mirror selfie, a studded tabasco sauce bottle, and other such day-to-day mundane activities showcasing her return on the show. She went on to caption this video saying, “Nadia Is Back”.
Talking about Citadel, the show which premiered its first season on Amazon Prime Video last year on April 28, is produced by Russo brothers with a different spin-off version being created for multiple countries in multiple languages. Citadel (the US version) also stars Richard Madden in the lead, along with Stanley Tucci, Roland Moller, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, Lesley Manville, among others. With the second season now going on floors, it is yet to be seen as to when the second season will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
