It is a known fact that the beloved Rashmika Mandanna wooed audiences in Pushpa: The Rise and playing Srivalli in this Allu Arjun starrer franchise has marked a significant turning point in her career, elevating her from a regional star to a true pan-Indian sensation. One of the major highlights of Pushpa prequel was the chartbuster song ‘Saami Saami’, in which Rashmika’s energetic dance moves and expressions left a lasting impression. Her signature step from the song became a viral trend. But a source recently revealed that during the shoot of ‘Saami Saami’ she reportedly continued filming despite a minor sprain.

An independent industry source recalled the shoot of the iconic dance number and said, “While shooting for ‘Saami Saami’, Rashmika has suffered a minor sprain and despite that sprain she completed the shoot for the song. And it turned out to be one of the most iconic songs of the entertainment industry”. While the sequel too is in the pipeline, fans are eager to see what Rashmika has in store for them.
On Tuesday, Rashmika Mandanna shared a sweet note about how Pushpa has been a part of her life for five years as she completed the shoot of the film with a song. Although she did not reveal details, social media is abuzz with rumours that the actress is all set for another dance number for Pushpa 2: The Rule. According to music composer DSP, the sequel too will feature a power-packed album like its predecessor. Speaking of the sequel, the film will be releasing on December 5 in multiple languages.
On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna has some other exciting upcoming projects, including Dhanush starrer Kubera, Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava, Tamil-Telugu bilingual Rainbow, and Rahul Ravindran’s The Girlfriend. She also has Sikandar opposite Salman Khan and Thama alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in the pipeline.
