Alia Bhatt’s mommy dearest, Soni Razdan celebrated her 68th birthday today, on October 25, 2012. Quite naturally, the family couldn’t let an occasion as big as this pass by without a celebration. They were seen enjoying the big day with a family dinner out in Mumbai. Once the celebration was over and the family parted ways, though, Ranbir’s protective side came out. And fans can’t stop gushing as new videos showing his care for his wife, Alia, his mom, Neetu, and his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt hit social media.

To celebrate Alia Bhatt’s mommy, Soni Razdan’s birthday, the family stepped out for a dinner together. When the celebration was over, Alia, Ranbir, Neetu, Soni, and Alia’s sister, Shaheen were spotted posing for a few final pictures with the paps. However, it was as the families were leaving that the crowd started to grow, with paps going crazy for pictures of the stars.
Amidst the chaos, Ranbir was seen guiding Alia to their car with his hand protectively on her back. The actor also seemed frustrated as the crowd wasn’t giving them much space to move. At one point, Ranbir even pulled a paparazzo out of the way by hand.

Ranbir looked similarly frustrated as he tried to guide his mom, Neetu Kapoor to her car. Neetu was having a conversation with the Bhatts when Ranbir requested her to move to the car with an irritated look on his way.
Ranbir was likely annoyed because he could sense the crowd growing. So, he might have wanted to get his family out of there without much hassle. He was seen guiding Neetu to her car after she wrapped up her conversation with an arm on her back. Ranbir was also seen using his arm to shield both Alia and Neetu from the paps a few times.

Ranbir was seen having a chat with his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt, who was also present at the party. Not only that, but the caring son-in-law also made it a point to see his father-in-law off. Once the father-in-law and son-in-law duo said their goodbyes, Ranbir guided Mahesh and pointed out the stairs ahead so the latter wouldn’t lose his balance.
Then the Animal actor sweetly requested the paparazzi to make way for Mahesh, saying, “Ek minute, jaane dijiye.” Even after Ranbir headed back into the restaurant, he was seen looking back at Mahesh one last time to make sure his beloved father-in-law was alright.

Bollywood ‘IT couple’, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, make a style statement wherever they go, and Soni Razdan’s birthday was no different. The paparazzi spotted the couple as they made their way to the birthday celebration for Alia’s mom. And they looked comfy yet chic.
Alia donned a stylish purple pantsuit with black and grey accents and a tie-up detail. She paired the same with pointy-toed black heels and kept her accessories simple with just a pair of gold hoops. Alia Bhatt opted for minimal make-up, too, opting for nothing more than a touch of eye-shadow and lipstick. Nevertheless, her glowy and dewy skin was enough to make her shine.
Alia’s hubby, Ranbir, on the other hand, went with an all-white outfit for the occasion. He was spotted in a basic white tee and white jeans paired with sneakers with mint green accents. He also had on a pale green beanie, but what truly stole the show was his new French beard look. Ranbir also accessorised with a thin gold chain.
