Opening up about the Jathara scene from Pushpa 2, Rashmika Mandanna exclusively told ETimes, “When I got the scene, I didn’t know what to do or how to go about it, so I spoke to Vijay. That’s the only scene I spoke to him about, saying I don’t know where to start. And he gave me perspective, which was quite interesting.”

Rashmika shared that she was apprehensive about the scene. She watched it with her Pushpa 2 co-star Allu Arjun by her side at the film’s premiere. While people clapped for her monologue, she was left wondering if the scene was good since she was trolled for Animal which had a monologue as well. She further shared that she had tears when she garnered applause for Pushpa 2.
