Ratan Tata was the man of ethics and morals. He might be the biggest tycoon in the world, but he never stopped working for the betterment of society and its animals. A man with the heart of a child kept telling me the importance of companionship in a person’s life. Out of choice, he didn’t married, but there are countless people crying right at the moment on hearing the news of Mr. Tata’s passing away.

At the start of this week, murmurs of Ratan Tata’s health being critical made rounds on the internet, but he dismissed the claims and stated that it was just a routine medical investigation due to his age-related conditions. He even urged people not to spread misinformation regarding his health.

With his one statement, many of his fans sighed in relief, only to get the news of his demise on October 10, 2024. At the age of 86, Ratan Tata passed away in Mumbai’s hospital. According to reports, he was undergoing treatment for a critical condition and was in the ICU. 

It was RPG chairman’s emotional note, announcing the demise of Ratan Tata that left shockwaves in the entire country. In his tweet on X, he wrote:

“The clock has stopped ticking. The Titan passes away. #RatanTata was a beacon of integrity, ethical leadership and philanthropy, who has imprinted an indelible mark on the world of business and beyond. He will forever soar high in our memories. R.I.P.”

When Ratan Tata assured his fans not to worry for his health

After concerns about Ratan Tata’s deteriorating health circulated, Ratan Tata addressed the murmurs. He clearly stated that he remains in good spirits and that there is nothing to worry about. He even asked people not to spread misinformation about his health in the media.

While others are businessmen, Ratan Tata was an iconic industrialist with a vision for the betterment of society. He became a known figure in Indian industry in 1991 when he took over the position of chairman of Tata Sons. Under his leadership, he transformed Tata Group from a domestic company into a global giant by acquiring companies like Tetley, Corus, and Jaguar Land Rover. His business empire is worth Rs. 3,800 crore.
