Now this was challenging because we were getting womenswear pieces & moreover we didn’t know what we would end up finding from Smita Patil’s wardrobe that would match Prateiks style. Prateiks aunt was kind enough to give us eight sarees to play around with. We narrowed down on two beautiful silk Kanjeevaram sarees,” he added.

Prateik has been vocal about the memories he has with the late actress. During an interview, he had opened up about the love Smita gets from her fans. “They still celebrate her like she is still around and like she has just given a hit film at the box office. Everybody is celebrating her birthday like everyone’s going to go and cut a cake or send some messages to her,” he said.
