Vizag: Eyes were on Rishabh Pant when he walked out for the second time this season at Vizag for Delhi Capitals home game against Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday. Despite Pant’s team being in deep-trouble, he did not disappoint. With the Capitals reeling in a mammoth 272 chase, Pant walked out in his usual swagger. He took guard and then hit the most expensive bowler of IPL 2024 Mitchell Starc for an incredible no-look six.

Starc strayed on Pant’s pads, the Capitals captain flicked it with utmost ease towards fine leg for a maximum. What followed was what caught attention. It was the KKR owner Shahrukh Khan, who was up on his feet – applauding the shot.
